be interested后習慣上不接不定式嗎

■《朗文英語正誤詞典》的interested詞條有這樣一組正誤句：

誤：If you are interested to know more about the town’s history, you should visit the museum.

正：If you are interested in knowing more about the town’s history, you should visit the museum.

■顯然，《朗文英語正誤詞典》認為be interested后不能接不定式。

■以上正誤說明不合實際，請看以下實例：

I’d be very interested to hear your opinion.（引自《朗文當代英語詞典》第4版interested詞條）

I’d be interested to hear more about your work.（引自《劍橋高級英語詞典》interested詞條）

I shall be interested to know what happens. 我很想知道情況會怎樣。(引自《牛津高階英漢雙解詞典》第四版interested詞條)

■從以上例證可以看出，be interested后接不定式是完全可能的，但是它與interested in doing sth有區別嗎？請看有關詞書的解釋：

1．《朗文英語語法》（第16.60條）給出的對比例句是：

I’m interested to hear your opinion. 我想聽聽你的意見。(你的意見使我感興趣)

I’m interested in emigrating to Canada. 我對移居加拿大感興趣。(我可能移居加拿大)

2．《英語用法指南》（第二版，第16條）給出的解釋是：

(1) 說明對得知的事的反應，常常用interested+動詞不定式。如：

I was interested to read in the paper that scientists have found out how to talk to whales. 我從報紙上看到，科學家已發現如何與鯨魚談話。我很感興趣。

I’m interested to see that Alice and Jake are going out together. 看到艾麗絲和杰克在談戀愛，我很感興趣。

I shall be interested to see how long it lasts. 我有興趣看看它能維持多久。

(2) 表示了解某種情況的愿望，interested+ -ing和interested+動詞不定式兩者都可以用。如：

I’m interested in finding out / to find out what she did with all that money. 我很想弄清楚那筆錢她是怎么花的。

Are you interested in knowing / to know whether I’m pregnant? 你想知道我懷了孕嗎?

(3) 表示做某件事情的愿望，我們通常用interested帶-ing形式。如：

I’m interested in working in Switzerland. Do you know anybody who could help me? 我想到瑞士去工作。你是否認識什么人可以幫我忙? (不能說：I’m interested to work in Switzerland…)
