比較等級(jí)前常見(jiàn)修飾語(yǔ)歸納

1. 比較級(jí)前可用a little, a bit, a little bit, slightly等修飾，表示“稍微”、“一點(diǎn)”。如：

It’s a little colder today than it was yesterday. 今天比昨天稍冷一點(diǎn)。

They’re a little bit better now. 現(xiàn)在他們稍好一點(diǎn)兒了。

2. 比較級(jí)前可用much, far, by far, a lot, a good deal, a great deal, rather等修飾，表示“……得多”。如：

She’s a good deal better today. 她今天好多了。

There are far more people than we expected. 人比我們預(yù)計(jì)的多得多。

注意：quite 也可修飾比較級(jí)，表示“……得多”，但該比較級(jí)通常只限于 better。如：

He’s quite better now. 他現(xiàn)在好多了。

3. 比較級(jí)前可用even, still修飾，表示“更……”。如：

It was even colder than yesterday. 今天比昨天還要冷。

The next day she got up still earlier. 第二天她起床更早些。

4. as…as 結(jié)構(gòu)前可用 almost, exactly, half, just, nearly, quite, …times, twice等修飾，表示程度。如：

Let’s walk. It’s just as quick as taking the bus. 咱們走路去吧，和坐公共汽車(chē)去一樣快。

Waves of red light are about twice as long as those of blue light. 紅色光線的波長(zhǎng)約為藍(lán)色波長(zhǎng)的兩倍。

5. 最高級(jí)可用 by far, much, about, almost, nearly及序數(shù)詞修飾，表示程度或順序。如：

This is much the most difficult. 這是最最難。

Hainan is China’s second largest island. 海南是中國(guó)第二大島。

6. 當(dāng)形容詞比較等級(jí)修飾名詞作定語(yǔ)時(shí)，其前通常加冠詞(特指用定冠詞，泛指用不定冠詞)；另外，有時(shí)要表示兩者之中的較為突出者(通常有 of the two 結(jié)構(gòu))，此時(shí)要在比較級(jí)前使用定冠詞。如：

If there were no examinations, we should have a much happier time. 要是沒(méi)有考試的話，我們?cè)趯W(xué)校玩得還會(huì)更開(kāi)心。

Of the two shirts, I’d like to choose the cheaper one. 我選定這兩件中較便宜的那件襯衫。
