關系代詞where與from where有何區別
where用作關系副詞引導定語從句時，由于它本身在意義上相當于“介詞+which”，所以其前通常無需再用介詞。如：
This is the hotel where (=in / at which) they were staying. 這就是他們當時住的旅店。
She has a safe in her closet where (=in which) she keeps her jewelry. 她在壁櫥內裝有一個保險箱存放她的珠寶。
但有時我們也可見到from where的用法，這時因為from是一個比較特殊的介詞，因為它有時可以后接介詞短語作賓語。如：
Come out from under the table. 從桌子下邊出來。
所以，盡管關系副詞where在意義上相當于“介詞+which”，有時由于語義的需要，也可在where之前使用介詞from。如：
We went up to the roof, from where we had a good view of the procession. 我們爬上屋頂，從那兒可以很好地觀看游行。
