是 two other 還是 other two

把“他又寫(xiě)了兩本小說(shuō)”譯成英語(yǔ)，應(yīng)該如何說(shuō)呢？下面三句，有兩句是對(duì)的，有一句是錯(cuò)的，請(qǐng)問(wèn)哪一句是錯(cuò)的？

A. He has written two other novels.    

B. He has written other two novels.

C. He has written two more novels.

此題應(yīng)選B。other與數(shù)詞連用時(shí)，要注意以下習(xí)慣。如：

1. 若泛指(即沒(méi)有冠詞)，數(shù)詞應(yīng)放在other之前。如：

桌上另外有兩本書(shū)。

正：There are two other books on the desk.

誤：There are other two books on the desk.

又有兩個(gè)學(xué)生入了團(tuán)。

正：Two other students have joined the League.

誤：Other two students have joined the League.

正：Another two students have joined the League.

正：Two more students have joined the League.

2. 若特指(即其前用the)，則數(shù)詞可以放在other之前或之后。如：

把另外兩本書(shū)給我。

正：Give me the other two books.

正：Give me the two other books.

其他三位乘客是婦女。

正：The other three passengers were women.

正：The three other passengers were women.

比較：There were three other passengers on thebus. 公共汽車(chē)上還有三位乘客。
