時(shí)間狀語從句學(xué)習(xí)指導(dǎo)

時(shí)間狀語從句就是在復(fù)合句中表示主句動(dòng)作發(fā)生時(shí)間的狀語從句。時(shí)間狀語從句是所有狀語從句中用得最經(jīng)常的一種，并且用于引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語從句的引導(dǎo)詞也比較多，在學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)間狀語從句時(shí)最重要的是記住這些引導(dǎo)詞有哪些，它們的意思怎樣等。到底時(shí)間狀語從句可以用哪些詞來引導(dǎo)呢？請看下文：

1. 用when引導(dǎo)：when表示“當(dāng)……時(shí)候”。如：

Things were different when I was a child. 我小時(shí)候情況與現(xiàn)在不同。

People breathe more slowly when they are asleep. 人睡覺時(shí)呼吸比較緩慢。

2. 用while引導(dǎo)：while表示“當(dāng)……時(shí)候”。如：

We must strike while the iron is hot. 我們要趁熱打鐵。

I went swimming while the others played tennis. 我去游泳，其余的人都打網(wǎng)球去了。

注意：while 所引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句中謂語動(dòng)詞必須是持續(xù)性的，不能是短暫性的。

3. 用as引導(dǎo)：as表示“當(dāng)……時(shí)候”“隨著”。如：

He dropped the glass as he stood up. 他站起來時(shí)，把杯子摔了。

We get wiser as we get old. 隨著年歲的增長，我們也變得聰明些了。

4. 用before引導(dǎo)：before表示“在……之前”。如：

Turn off the lights before you go to bed. 睡覺前要關(guān)燈。

Before he went to university he was a worker. 上大學(xué)之前他是工人。

5. 用after引導(dǎo)：after表示“在……之后”。如：

I will tell you after they leave. 他們走我再告訴你。

After you finish the letter show it to me．信寫完后給我看看。

6. 用until / till引導(dǎo)：until / till表示“直到……”。如：

He waited until she was about to leave. 他等著一直到她準(zhǔn)備離開。

I watched him until he disappeared in the distance. 我瞧著他直到他在遠(yuǎn)處消失。

這類句型的主句動(dòng)詞通常只能是延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞，不能是終止性動(dòng)詞。但是，在否定句中，主句動(dòng)詞可以是終止性動(dòng)詞，此時(shí)構(gòu)成not…ntil [till]…句式，意為“直到……才……”。如：

She didn’t marry until she was over fifty. 她直到五十多歲才結(jié)婚。

We’d better not go until your sister arrives. 我們最好等你姐姐到了再走。

7. 用since引導(dǎo)：since表示“自從……以來”。如：

We have known each other since we were children. 我們從小認(rèn)識(shí)。

They’ve moved twice since they got married. 他們結(jié)婚后已搬了兩次家。

這類句子的主句通常用現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)。但是，當(dāng)主句表示一段時(shí)間時(shí)，可用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)代替現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)。如：

It’s a long time since we met last. 好久沒見面了。

How long is it since you came in London? 你來倫敦有多久了?
