三、指測(cè)量（measure）的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)

即指測(cè)量重量、純度、價(jià)值等的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)或基準(zhǔn)。此時(shí)為可數(shù)。如：

There is no absolute standard for beauty. 美是沒有絕對(duì)的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的。

The kilogram is the international standard of weight. 千克是國際重量標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

The government has an official standard for the purity of silver. 政府對(duì)銀的純度有法定的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

The industry standard of temperature for shipping produce is 41 degrees Fahrenheit. 運(yùn)輸農(nóng)產(chǎn)品的行業(yè)溫度標(biāo)準(zhǔn)是41華氏度。

四、指道德（moral）標(biāo)準(zhǔn)

即指被認(rèn)可的道德或行為規(guī)范；此時(shí)要用復(fù)數(shù)形式。如：

Have standards of morality improved? 道德標(biāo)準(zhǔn)是否已有所改進(jìn)?

His moral standards have been called into question. 他的道德標(biāo)準(zhǔn)令人生疑。

Standards aren't what they used to be. 現(xiàn)在的行為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)與過去不一樣了。

She differs with [from] her brother about moral standards. 她與兄弟在道德標(biāo)準(zhǔn)上意見不一致。
