man enough中man是什么詞？

我見(jiàn)過(guò)這樣一個(gè)句子：Are you man enough for this dangerous job? 請(qǐng)問(wèn)，man是個(gè)什么詞？為何不加冠詞？

這句話中，man實(shí)際當(dāng)形容詞用，意為“男子氣概的；勇敢的”，相當(dāng)于manly，所以之前沒(méi)有冠詞，被enough修飾。又如：

I asked whether he was man enough to fight. 我問(wèn)他是否敢于去戰(zhàn)斗。

I made a mistake and I’m man enough to acknowledge it. 我犯了錯(cuò)，但我有足夠的勇氣去承認(rèn)。

Is he man enough to play the role?　 　他是個(gè)足夠擔(dān)當(dāng)這項(xiàng)任務(wù)的男子漢嗎。

But I’m man enough to face them today! 但是我夠爺們兒,有足夠的勇氣去面對(duì)自己的一切過(guò)錯(cuò)!

John is not man enough to face up to the wrongs he has committed. 約翰沒(méi)有足夠的勇氣面對(duì)他所犯下的錯(cuò)誤。

They were men enough to face the darkness. 他們都是堂堂的男子漢,都是些敢于面對(duì)現(xiàn)實(shí)的人。

此外，fool一詞也有此用法，相當(dāng)于foolish。例如：

I was fool enough to believe him. 我夠愚蠢了竟然信了他的話。

You are fool enough to rent that house. 你租那棟房子真夠傻的了。

You were fool enough to join that club. 參加那個(gè)俱樂(lè)部你真是蠢極了。

I have been fool enough to believe what he said.我太傻了，竟會(huì)相信他的話。
