五、代詞不一致 代詞一致的問(wèn)題主要存在于性別一致、數(shù)的一致(單復(fù)數(shù)問(wèn)題)和代詞的格等方面。如: 誤:There are forty students in our class, and thirty of them are boys. 正:There are forty students in our class, and thirty of us are boys. 析:從前一分句可看出,本句談?wù)摰氖?/SPAN>“我們班”的情況,故后一分句也應(yīng)用第一人稱(chēng)。 誤:Once one has money, we can do what he wants (to do) 正:Once one has money, he can do what he wants (to do) 析:誤句中前面提到的是one has money,面又有what he wants,we與前后代詞不一致,故應(yīng)改為he。 六、搭配不一致 搭配不一致主要指句中的固定搭配應(yīng)保持完整并與上下文一致。如: 誤:He worked so hard as he could catch up with his classmates. 正:He worked so hard that he could catch up with his classmates. 析:從固定形式上看,有so…as…,so …that… 等。但從句意上看,此處應(yīng)該用so…that…,才能保持句意及結(jié)構(gòu)的一致。 誤:I was so tired that I fell asleep at the moment my head touched the pillow. 正:I was so tired that I fell asleep the moment my head touched the pillow. 析:此處the moment是名詞用作連詞,表示“一……就……”,其前不能加at。 七、邏輯主語(yǔ)不一致 按英語(yǔ)習(xí)慣,當(dāng)非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞作狀語(yǔ)時(shí),其邏輯主語(yǔ)應(yīng)與句子主語(yǔ)保持一致,否則便會(huì)造成錯(cuò)誤。如: 誤:After reading the letter, tears ran down his cheeks. 正:After he read the letter, tears ran down his cheeks. 正:After reading the letter, he burst into tears. 析:after 引導(dǎo)動(dòng)名詞作狀語(yǔ)時(shí),要注意其邏輯主語(yǔ)與句子主語(yǔ)保 持一致。 誤:Given more time, the work could have been done better. 正:Given more time, we could have done the work better. 析:在上句中,given 是 give(給)的過(guò)去分詞,given more time為過(guò)去分詞短語(yǔ),在句中用作狀語(yǔ),表示條件,相當(dāng)于 If we had been given more time。按照英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法,分詞短語(yǔ)用作狀語(yǔ),它的邏輯主語(yǔ)必須與句子主語(yǔ)保持一致。 引用地址: |
