another后接復(fù)數(shù)名詞兩種類型

在通常情況下，another 后接名詞時(shí)應(yīng)是單數(shù)。如：

Don’t lose heart. Have another try. 別灰心，再試一次。

If the pain should return take another of these pills. 疼痛復(fù)發(fā)時(shí)，可再吃一片這種藥。

He quickly threw the ball to another player. 他迅速把球傳給了另一名球員。

It’s not so easy to find another job. 另找一份工作并不容易。

Don’t advertise the fact that you’re looking for another job. 不要讓別人知道你在另找工作。

但是，有時(shí)也可以修飾復(fù)數(shù)名詞，主要有以下兩種類型：

類型一：another few+復(fù)數(shù)名詞

I’m staying for another few weeks. 我還要再呆幾個(gè)星期。

I need another few days before l can make up my mind. 我還需幾天才能決定。

I’ll be able to speak French in another few months. 再過(guò)幾個(gè)月我就會(huì)講法語(yǔ)了。

The supplies would last for only another few days. 這些補(bǔ)給品只夠再維持幾天。

The road runs northeast for another few miles. 這條路向東北方又延伸了幾英里。

The factory closure will mean another few hundred people drawing the dole. 工廠倒閉意味著又有幾百人要領(lǐng)取失業(yè)救濟(jì)。

類型二：another +數(shù)詞+復(fù)數(shù)名詞

I could go on for another two hours. 我再講兩個(gè)小時(shí)都講不完。

The damaged vessel sailed on for another 50 miles. 受損的船再航行了50 英里。

The Dow Jones index fell another 50 points yesterday. 道瓊斯指數(shù)昨日又跌了50點(diǎn)。

It is said that another 260 jobs were axed by the company yesterday. 據(jù)說(shuō)該公司昨天又裁員260名。

Doctors advised him to continue the treatment for another six weeks. 醫(yī)生建議他再繼續(xù)治療6個(gè)星期。

They performed another two songs as encores. 應(yīng)觀眾要求，他們又返場(chǎng)加唱了兩首歌。
