market的可數(shù)性以及介詞搭配

1. 表示具體的買賣東西的“市場”，是可數(shù)名詞。如：

There are a lot of small markets in this town. 這個鎮(zhèn)里有許多小市場。

2. 表示“去市場（購物等）”，通常可省略冠詞。如：

He went to (the) market to sell what he had made. 他去市場賣自制品。

有時表示“趕集”。如：

The market is held twice a week. 每周有兩次趕集。

3. 有時用于引申義，表示相對于商品和銷售意義上的“市場”或“市場需求”（可數(shù)或不可數(shù)）。如：

The product will find a good market in Europe. 這種產(chǎn)品會在歐洲有好的銷路。

There is no (not much, a poor) market for these goods. 這些商品沒有銷路（銷路不好、銷路很差）。

4. 用于 on the market, 意為“出售”“上市”等。如：

These computers aren’t yet on the market. 這些計算機還未上市。

有時也用介詞 in。如：

The house is in the market. 這座房子待售。
