2. as well as后接過去分詞

as well as后接過去分詞基本上屬于as well as作為連接詞的一般用法，即前后動詞形式保持對稱的用法，所以在as well as前也會有一個相對應(yīng)的過去分詞。例如：

Evening primrose oil is used on the skin as well as taken internally. (CCED)

He's played football, baseball and basketball for his school, as well as performed in school plays. (CCAE)

It can be inserted parenthetically, as well as placed finally. (GCE)

3. as well as后可接動詞不定式

as well as后接動詞不定式一般限于前文中出現(xiàn)動詞不定式的情況。這時，as well as后的動詞不定式對應(yīng)的是前文中的動詞不定式。例如：

African stories always have a moral because they were meant to teach as well as entertain. (IEU)

It really annoys me when people expect me to tip as well as pay a service charge in a restaurant. (CIDE)

The ultrasound scan helps to determine the age of the foetus as well as check for hereditary abnormalities. (CIDE)

有時前文中的不定式為情態(tài)動詞或助動詞后的無to不定式。例如：

以上講到的幾種情況都是as well as接動詞不定式以對應(yīng)其前面出現(xiàn)的動詞不定式，其中的as well as都是連詞性用法。一旦as well as前置于句首，其后必須使用-ing分詞，無論對應(yīng)同一句中的謂語還是非謂語動詞。這是因為處于句首的as well as顯然屬于介詞。例如：
