陷阱3  誤解名詞性物主代詞的單復數意義

名詞性物主代詞mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, theirs等作主語時，謂語動詞的數取決于該動詞后面名詞的數，即動詞后面的名詞是單數形式，謂語動詞用單數形式；動詞后面名詞為復數形式，謂語動詞用復數形式。如：

His is a new bike. 他的是一輛舊自行車。

Ours are old bikes. 我們的是些新自行車。

陷阱4  誤解某些不定代詞的單復數意義

有些不定代詞，如all, some, none, most, any等，當它們用作主語時，若指復數概念，謂語動詞用復數形式；若指單數概念，則謂語動詞用單數形式。如：

Not all work is difficult. 不是所有的工作都難。

Not all the students are here. 不是所有的學生都在這兒。
