用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)漢語(yǔ)慣用語(yǔ)中的數(shù)字

漢語(yǔ)中有些口語(yǔ)表達(dá)經(jīng)常會(huì)涉及一些數(shù)字，比如“一兩個(gè)”“三三兩兩”等，你知道它們?cè)谟⒄Z(yǔ)中是如何表達(dá)的嗎？

1. 一兩個(gè)

你知道漢語(yǔ)的“一兩個(gè)……”用英語(yǔ)如何表示嗎？

方法一：用a (an)… or two 表示。如：

I’d like to use the computer for an hour or two. 我想用一兩個(gè)小時(shí)的電腦。

The doctor says you’ll be all right in a day or two. 醫(yī)生說你一兩天就會(huì)好。

方法二：用one or two…表示。如：

One or two people can’t come. 有一兩個(gè)人不能來。

there are one or two signs worth watching for. 有一些值得注意的標(biāo)記。

另外，英語(yǔ)中的 a couple of 有時(shí)也可表示“一兩個(gè)”。如：

I’ll only be away for a couple of days. 我只離開一兩天。

注意，英語(yǔ)習(xí)慣上不說 one…or two或a or two…這樣的表達(dá)，如“一兩天”可說a day or two或one or two days，但不能說成 one day or two或a or two days。

2. 一個(gè)半

如何用英語(yǔ)表示“一個(gè)半”？

方法一：用a (an)…and a half表示。如：

It weighs one ton and a half. 這東西重一噸半。

I finished the examination in an hour and a half. 我在一個(gè)半小時(shí)之內(nèi)考試完畢。

方法二：用one and a half…表示。如：

She’s one and a half years old now. 她現(xiàn)在一歲半。

He got married about one and a half years ago. 大約是一年半前結(jié)的婚。

類似地，我們應(yīng)該如何用英語(yǔ)表示“兩個(gè)半”“三個(gè)半”“四個(gè)半”呢？請(qǐng)看例句：

The round trip was two dollars and a half. 來回票是兩塊半美金。

This happened four and a half centuries ago. 這是四個(gè)半世紀(jì)前發(fā)生的事。

3. 三三兩兩

如何用英語(yǔ)表示“三三兩兩”？

方法一：用by twos and threes表示。如：

They left by twos and threes. 他們?nèi)�三兩兩地離開了。

The students are coming into the classroom by twos and threes. 學(xué)生們正三三兩兩地走進(jìn)教室。

方法二：用in twos and threes表示。如：

People began to leave the meeting in twos and threes. 人們開始三三兩兩地離開了會(huì)場(chǎng)。

Applications for the job are coming in slowly in twos and threes. 申請(qǐng)這份工作的信件三三兩兩來得很慢。

4. 另外三個(gè)

如何用英語(yǔ)表示“另外三個(gè)”？

方法一：用 another three 表示。如：

They drove for another three hours. 他們又行駛了3個(gè)小時(shí)。

I need another three driving lessons before my test. 考試前我還需上3節(jié)駕駛課。

方法二：用three other…表示（other后必須接名詞）。如：

He has three other dictionaries. 他還有另外三本詞典。

Three other boys ran into the trees. 另外三個(gè)男孩子跑進(jìn)了樹林。
