四、考查倒裝句中的主謂一致

對(duì)于倒裝句來說，位于句首主語位置的成分并非是句子的主語，此時(shí)需根據(jù)句子意思和句式特點(diǎn)找出句子真正的主語，從而確定句子謂語動(dòng)詞的形式。

【例題】Between the two hills ________ a deep river. (山東煙臺(tái)中考題)

A. are                    B. have                  C. has                    D. is

解析：根據(jù)英語語法，介詞短語不用作句子主語，所以當(dāng)介詞短語位于主語位置時(shí)，應(yīng)考慮其是否是倒裝句。本題即屬倒裝句，真正的主語是a deep river，故答案選D。

五、考查并列成分作主語時(shí)的主謂一致

對(duì)于并列成分作主語時(shí)的主語一致問題，同學(xué)們主要應(yīng)注意以下兩類結(jié)構(gòu)：

1. 當(dāng)and和both…and…連接的兩個(gè)并列成分作主語時(shí)，謂語動(dòng)詞通常要用復(fù)數(shù)。

2. 當(dāng)either…or…，neither…nor…，not only…but also…連接的兩個(gè)并列成分作主語時(shí)，謂語動(dòng)詞通常要與其最靠近的那個(gè)主語保持一致。

【例1】— Both Li Lei and Han Meimei ________ fond of the TV program “A Bite of China”.

— I am also deeply moved by its stories! (廣東廣州中考題)

A. is                       B. am                     C. was                   D. are

解析：both…and…連接兩個(gè)成分作主語時(shí)，謂語動(dòng)詞要用復(fù)數(shù)，故可排除A、B和C；再根據(jù)答句中的時(shí)態(tài)可知，空格處的動(dòng)詞也應(yīng)用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)，即選D。

【例2】This is my twin sister, Lucy. Not only she but also I ________ good at drawing.(黑龍江齊齊哈爾中考題)

A. is                       B. am                     C. are                     D. were

解析：當(dāng)not only…but also…連接兩個(gè)成分作主語時(shí)，其后謂語動(dòng)詞要與其最靠近的那個(gè)主語保持一致，故答案選B。

【例3】Neither my father nor my mother ________ rock music. They think that it’s too ________. (貴州銅仁中考題)

A. like; noise        B. likes; noise       C. like; noisy         D. likes; noisy

解析：當(dāng)neither…nor…連接兩個(gè)成分作主語時(shí)，其后謂語動(dòng)詞要與其最靠近的那個(gè)主語保持一致，故可確定第一空應(yīng)填likes，即可排除A和C；再根據(jù)第二空前的too（太）可知，第二空應(yīng)填形容詞，而不能填名詞，故答案只能選D。

六、考查a (the) number of作主語時(shí)的主謂一致

a number of…的意思是“許多”，若用作主語，其后的謂語動(dòng)詞要用復(fù)數(shù)；the number of…的意思是“……的數(shù)量”，若用作主語，其后的謂語動(dòng)詞要用單數(shù)。

【例1】In our hospital, the number of women doctors ________ larger and larger. (青海西寧中考題)

A. is                       B. are                     C. be                      D. been

解析：the number of 意為“……的數(shù)量”，作主語時(shí)謂語動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)形式，故選A。

【例2】The number of teachers in our school ________ greatly increased last term. A number of teachers in this school ________ from the countryside. (廣東河源中考題)

A. was; is              B. was; are            C. were; are          D. were; is

解析：the number of…作主語時(shí)，其后的謂語動(dòng)詞要用單數(shù)，故第一空填was；a number of…用作主語時(shí)，其后的謂語動(dòng)詞要用復(fù)數(shù)，故第二空填are，即答案為B。
