1. 祈使句，and + 陳述句

Go at once, and you will catch up with them. 快去，那樣你就會趕上他們。

Stick to your principles, and you will win through. 堅持你的原則，就會勝利。

Compare this with that, and you will see which is better. 把這個和那個比較一下，你就可以看出哪個比較好了。

Try and exclude draughts from the room, and you will save money on your heating bills. 不讓過堂風吹進房間，那就可以省一些暖氣費。

2. 祈使句，or + 陳述句

Drop that gun, or I’ll shoot you. 放下槍，不然我就打死你。

Make haste, or we’ll miss the bus. 趕快，否則我們趕不上汽車了。

Turn your radio down, or you’ll wake the neighbours. 把收音機的聲音調小些，不然會把鄰居吵醒。

Be back before ten, or you’ll be locked out. 你必須在10點鐘以前回來，否則就要被關在外面。

二、考點歸納

1. 考查祈使句句首的動詞形式（用原形）。如：

【分析】答案選B。因為祈使句的句首應該用動詞原形。句意：向左轉，筆直走，然后就能找到雜貨店。
