be sorry to do與be sorry to have done用法的區(qū)別

1. 表示將要發(fā)生的情況

表示將要發(fā)生的情況時(shí)，只能用 be sorry to do sth，不能用 be sorry to have done sth。如：

I’m sorry to disappoint you, but we can’t go. 很抱歉讓你失望了，我們不能去。

I’m sorry to say that I won’t be able to accept the job. 很遺憾，我不能接受這工作。

I’m sorry to trouble you, but could you open the door for me? 對(duì)不起，麻煩你一下，你能幫我把門(mén)打開(kāi)嗎？

I’m sorry to bother you, but could you tell me the way to the station? 對(duì)不起打擾一下，請(qǐng)問(wèn)去車(chē)站怎么走?

We received your communication of 11th March and are sorry to inform you that we won’t be attending the conference. 我們收到了貴方3月11日的來(lái)函，但很遺憾地通知你們，我們不能出席會(huì)議。

2. 表示已經(jīng)發(fā)生的情況

表示已經(jīng)發(fā)生的情況時(shí)，既可用 be sorry to do sth，也可用 be sorry to have done sth。如：

(1) 用 be sorry to do sth的例子：

I’m very sorry to keep you waiting. 對(duì)不起，讓你久等了。

I was sorry to hear of your accident. 獲悉你遇到了意外, 我很難過(guò)。

We were sorry to miss your concert. 我們很遺憾沒(méi)有去聽(tīng)你的音樂(lè)會(huì)。

(2) 用 be sorry to have done sth的例子：

I’m sorry to have incurred his anger. 我很抱歉惹他生氣了。

I’m terribly sorry to have kept you waiting. 很抱歉，讓你久等了。

I’m sorry to have put you to all this bother. 真抱歉給你添了這么多的麻煩。

In the letter Annie said she was sorry to have run off without a word, but that she was happy with her marriage and work. 在信里安妮為自己不辭而別表示抱歉，但她說(shuō)她的婚姻生活愉快，工作也順利。

3. 后接for [about] doing sth

若后接for [about] doing sth，則通常表示對(duì)已發(fā)生的動(dòng)作表示遺憾。如：

I’m sorry for making such a fuss. 我這樣大發(fā)脾氣，真是不好意思。

I’m sorry for giving you so much trouble. 對(duì)不起，給你添了很多麻煩。

He wasn’t sorry for hitting the other boy. 他打了另外一個(gè)男孩，居然毫無(wú)悔意。

I’m sorry about breaking the vase—it was an accident. 對(duì)不起，我把花瓶打碎了——這是個(gè)意外。

He says he’s really sorry for taking the car without asking. 他沒(méi)打招呼就用了車(chē)，他說(shuō)他為此感到非常抱歉。

若要強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作已經(jīng)完成，也可動(dòng)名詞的完成式。如：

I’m sorry for having wasted your time. 我很抱歉浪費(fèi)了你的時(shí)間。
