關(guān)閉窗口 人名前可用冠詞嗎
先來(lái)看一道題：

A. The Smith B. The Smiths C. Mr Smiths D. Mr Smith
【分析】此題應(yīng)選B。容易誤選C、D，因?yàn)樵谕ǔＧ闆r下，人名前不用冠詞。此題要選B，理由是：姓氏的復(fù)數(shù)形式前加定冠詞，可以表示某一家人或某某夫婦。又如：
The Lius live upstairs. 劉家住在樓上。
The Blacks managed to buy a computer for their son. 布萊克夫婦設(shè)法為他們的孩子買了臺(tái)電腦。
以下各例的人名前也用了冠詞，請(qǐng)注意它在漢語(yǔ)中的意思：
A Mr Brown wants to see you. 一位叫布朗先生的人要見(jiàn)你。
They thought he was a Zhuge Liang. 他們認(rèn)為他是個(gè)諸葛亮。
He is a Newton of today. 他是當(dāng)代的牛頓。
The painting on the wall is a Rembrandt. 墻上的這幅是倫勃朗的作品。
Lu Xun was called the Gorkey of China. 魯迅被認(rèn)為是中國(guó)的高爾基。
He was the Homer of his age. 他是他那個(gè)時(shí)代的荷馬。
He’s sitting in the Ford. 他坐在福特牌汽車?yán)铩?/SPAN>
A few minutes later he was met by an anxious Miss Smith. 幾分鐘后焦急的史密斯小姐向他迎了上來(lái)。
