并列連詞yet有哪些用法

yet用作并列連詞，主要表示轉(zhuǎn)折，意為“然而”“但是”。如：

He worked hard, yet he failed. 他工作努力，可是他失敗了。

He said he would be late, yet he arrived on time. 他說他會(huì)遲到，但他卻準(zhǔn)時(shí)到了。

在使用時(shí)還要注意以下幾點(diǎn)：

1. 用于習(xí)語and yet或but yet，意為“雖然如此”“可是”“然而”，與單獨(dú)使用的yet意思相同。如：

He’s not really nice-looking, and yet he has enormous charm. 他并不十分好看，可是他很有魅力。

She’s a funny girl, but yet you can’t help liking her. 她是一個(gè)奇怪的姑娘，但你禁不住會(huì)喜歡她。

2. 根據(jù)英語習(xí)慣，although不能與連詞but搭配使用，但是有時(shí)although可以與yet搭配連用（此時(shí)的yet可視為副詞）。如：

Although we are poor, yet we are happy. 盡管我們窮，但我們很快活。
