parent和twin是指一個人還是兩個人

1. parent的意思是“父親”或“母親”，指父母兩人當(dāng)?shù)囊粋�，若要指父母雙親，要用復(fù)數(shù)形式parents。如：

You must take on the duties of a parent. 你必須承擔(dān)起為人父母者的責(zé)任。

Parents should be alert to sudden changes in children’s behavior. 父母應(yīng)該留心孩子行為的突然變化。

2. twin的意思是“雙胞胎之一”，若指雙胞胎中的兩個人，要用復(fù)數(shù)形式twins。如：

They must be twins. 他們一定是雙胞胎。

I can’t tell one twin from the other. 我分不出雙胞胎中誰是誰。
