介詞后可接副詞作賓語嗎

副詞用作介詞賓語不算普通，主要見于以下特殊情況：

(1) 疑問副詞用作介詞賓詞，不過這樣用時，介詞通常可以省略。如：

Where are you going (to)? 你去哪兒?

Where does this road lead (to)? 這條路通到哪兒?

How long have you known her (for)? 你認識地有多久了?

Where do you want me to take these files (to)? 你要我把這些檔案送到哪里去?

(2) 某些表地點的副詞作用介詞的賓語。如：

① 副詞here和there用作along, around, down, in, near, on, over, round, through, under, up等介詞的賓語。如：

Your hotel is quite near here. 你的旅館離這兒很近。

Be along here at two tomorrow afternoon. 明天下午兩點到這里來。

It’s difficult finding your way around here. 在這一帶認路是不容易的。

So I drove all the way down there. 因而我一路開車前往那里。

Open the window—it’s like an oven in here! 打開窗戶吧——這里熱得像火爐!

I want to ask a question of that man over there. 我想問那邊那個人一個問題。

② 副詞home用作at, (away) from, close to, near, toward(s) 等的賓語。如：

I’m at home every evening. 我每天晚上都在家。

She supposed him to be away from home. 她認為他不在家。

His comments struck unpleasantly close to home. 他的話點中了要害，讓人不舒服。

We were driving towards home when we saw the accident. 我們在開車回家的路上目睹了一起車禍。

③ 副詞abroad只用用作from的賓語，如：

I’ve got a letter from abroad. 我收到一封國外的來信。

When telephoning from abroad, dial 865, not 0865. 從國外打電話，要撥865，不要撥0865。

④ 介詞from后接behind, downstairs, upstairs, inside, outside, above, below, beneath, underneath, indoors, outdoors, within等表示地點的副詞作賓語。如：

The enemy attacked us from behind. 敵人從后面襲擊了我們。

The door was suddenly opened from within. 門突然從里面開了。

The noise from downstairs prevented me from sleeping. 樓下的吵鬧聲使我睡不著覺。

As the door opened, gales of laughter came from inside. 門一打開，里面傳出一陣大笑聲。

(3) 某些表時間的副詞作用介詞的賓語。如：

① after后接today, tomorrow等作賓語。如：

The day after today is tomorrow. 今天之后就是明天。

If today is Wednesday, the day after tomorrow will be Friday. 今天要是星期三，后天就是星期五。

② before后接long, yesterday等作賓語。如：

I hope to write to you before long. 我希望不久就能給你寫信。

If today is Wednesday, the day before yesterday was Monday. 今天要是星期三，前天就是星期一。

③ by后接now, tomorrow, then等作賓語。如：

He left two hours ago and he should be there by now. 他是兩小時前離開的，到現在應該已經到那里了。

If you can’t finish the book by then, you must come and renew it. 這本書如果你到時候還看不完，你應當來續借。

④ for后接today, now, once, ever, long等作賓語。如：

That’s all for today. 今天就講到這里吧。

Just for once he arrived on time. 只有這次他是按時到了。

Nothing engages his attention for long. 什么事都無法使他長時間精神集中。

I wish the friendship between the two countries would last forever. 我希望兩國間的友誼天長地久。

⑤ from后接now, today, tomorrow等作賓語。如：

I’ll study harder from now on. 從此我要更加用功。

The new law takes effect from tomorrow. 新法令明日起實行。

A week from today, we’ll be flying home. 一星期之后我們就乘坐著飛機回家了。

⑥ since后接lately, recently, then, yesterday等作賓語。如：

I’ve changed my mind since then. 從那以后我改變了主意。

The army has been shelling the town since yesterday. 軍隊就從昨天開始就在炮轟這座城鎮。

⑦ till, until后接recently, then, now, tomorrow, late, later等作賓語。如：

Shops remain open till late in the evening. 商店一直開到晚上很晚。

I was unaware of his existence until now. 現在我才知道有他這么個人。

Do you want to have lunch now or wait till later? 你是現在吃午飯，還是再等一會兒?

(4) 在某些固定搭配中，偶爾也有副詞用用介詞的賓語。如：

They worked all day and had a hurried lunch in between. 他們工作了一整天，中間匆匆吃了一頓飯。
