關(guān)閉窗口 副詞how用法詳解
1. 在某些動(dòng)詞（如show, discover, see, explain, find out等）之后不宜直接跟不定式，但可跟“疑問(wèn)詞+不定式”，在這類結(jié)構(gòu)中，不要忘記必要的 how（因?yàn)?/FONT> how 在漢語(yǔ)中往往譯不出）。如：
你能說(shuō)明一下蛋糕的作法嗎?
誤：Can you explain to make a cake?
正：Can you explain how to make a cake?
2. 通常不能用作關(guān)系副詞，所以不能引導(dǎo)定語(yǔ)從句：
那就是他跟他父母說(shuō)話的樣子。
誤：That’s the way how he speaks to his parents.
正：That’s how he speaks to his parents.
正：That’s the way (that) he speaks to his parents.
正：That’s the way (in which) he speaks to his parents.
3. how far與how long用法不同：前者用來(lái)問(wèn)距離的遠(yuǎn)近，而后者用來(lái)問(wèn)時(shí)間的長(zhǎng)短或物體的長(zhǎng)度。如：
How far did you drive today? 今天你開(kāi)車(chē)開(kāi)了多遠(yuǎn)?
How long shall we stay there? 我們?cè)谀莾阂嗑?/FONT>?
How long is this pool? 這個(gè)水塘有多長(zhǎng)?
4. how many與how much用法不同：兩者均表示“多少”，how many之后接可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)，而how much之后接不可數(shù)名詞或不接詞。如：
How many tenses are there in English? 英語(yǔ)有多少種時(shí)態(tài)?
How much baggage do you have? 你有多少行李?
How much is four times five? 4乘以5等于多少?
另外，how much 還可用來(lái)詢問(wèn)價(jià)錢(qián)：How much is the coat? 這件上衣多少錢(qián)?
5. 比較how long, how often, how soon：
(1) how long指多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間，用來(lái)對(duì)一段時(shí)間（如two days, four weeks等）提問(wèn)。如：
A：How long did he live here? 他在這兒住了多久?
B：About five years. 大約5年。
(2) how often指每隔多久，用來(lái)對(duì)頻度副詞或狀語(yǔ)（如once a week, three times a month等）提問(wèn)。如：
A：How often does he come here? 他（每隔）多久來(lái)一次?
B：Once a month. 每月一次。
(3) how soon指再過(guò)多久，用來(lái)對(duì)表示將來(lái)的一段時(shí)間提問(wèn)（如in an hour, in two weeks等）提問(wèn)。如：
A：How soon will he be back? 他要多久才回來(lái)?
B：In an hour. 1個(gè)小時(shí)以后。
