高考英語(yǔ)常考句式（04）

——it is +時(shí)間 + since (before, when)…

請(qǐng)注意以下三個(gè)句式的區(qū)別和意思上的差異（其中的 is 根據(jù)情況可以有其他時(shí)態(tài)形式）：

It is + 時(shí)間段 + since… 的意思是“自從……以來(lái)有一段時(shí)間了”。

It is + 時(shí)間點(diǎn) + when… 的意思是“當(dāng)……的時(shí)候時(shí)間是……”。

It is + 時(shí)間段 + before… 的意思是“在……之前有一段時(shí)間”。

請(qǐng)看以下用例：

It’s ten years since they got married. 他們結(jié)婚到現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)十年了。

It was past one o’clock when he came in. 他回來(lái)時(shí)已經(jīng)一點(diǎn)多了。

It won’t be long before they understand each other. 過(guò)不了多久他們就會(huì)互相了解的。

有時(shí)翻譯可以比較靈活：

It’s a long time since I met you last. 好久不見(jiàn)了。(直譯：自上次見(jiàn)到你以來(lái)有很長(zhǎng)一段時(shí)間了。)

It’s about three years since I last played basketball. 我差不多有三年沒(méi)有打籃球了。(直譯：自從我上次打籃球以來(lái)已差不多有三年了。)
