高考英語常考句式（05）

——“句首否定狀語+倒裝”句式

在高考英語涉及倒裝的考題中，約有一半是考查否定狀語置于句首時的倒裝。這里所說的否定狀語主要是指never, seldom, rarely, little, hardly, scarcely, no sooner, no longer, nowhere 等表示否定意義的副詞以及by no means(決不), in no case(決不), on no accounts(決不), on no condition(決不), in [under] no circumstances(決不)等。這種倒裝與一般疑問句的形式相同，通常被稱為部分倒裝。如：

Never shall I forgive him. 我永遠(yuǎn)不會寬恕他。

Seldom does he go out for dinner. 他很少出去吃飯。

Hardly does she have time to listen to music. 她幾乎沒時間聽音樂。

I haven’t been to New York before and neither has my sister. 我以前沒去過紐約, 我妹妹也沒去過.

In no case should you give up. 你絕不能放棄。

On no condition should we tell her about it. 我們絕不能把此事告訴她。

Not until he came back did he realize how serious the matter is. 直到他回來，他才意識到問題有多嚴(yán)重。
