用于objection to doing sth，表示“反對(duì)做某事”。如：
He had no objection to getting up early. 他對(duì)早起沒有反對(duì)意見。
I have no objection to hearing your story again. 再聽一遍你的故事，我沒有異議。
Have you any objection to changing your working hours? 你反不反對(duì)改變你的工作時(shí)間?
有時(shí)動(dòng)名詞前可以帶邏輯主語。如：
Do you have any objection to children reading such books? 你反對(duì)孩子們看這類書嗎?
8. opposition 反對(duì)，抵抗，對(duì)抗
用于opposition to doing sth，表示“反對(duì)做某事”。如：
There will be considerable opposition to increasing the budget. 對(duì)增加預(yù)算有大量的反對(duì)意見。
There continues to be overwhelming opposition to cutting school funding. 削減學(xué)校資金一事一直為絕大多數(shù)人所反對(duì)。
有時(shí)動(dòng)名詞前可以帶邏輯主語。如：
He has an opposition to my doing so. 他反對(duì)我這樣做。
My father had keen opposition to my buying a car. 我父親強(qiáng)烈反對(duì)我買汽車。
9. priority 優(yōu)先，優(yōu)先權(quán)
主要用于give (top) priority to doing sth，意為“優(yōu)先考慮做某事”“給予做某事優(yōu)先權(quán)”“將做某事列為重點(diǎn)”。如：
The Government gave priority to reforming the legal system. 政府將改革法制列為工作的重點(diǎn)。
The government should give top priority to rebuilding the inner cities. 政府應(yīng)該優(yōu)先重建城內(nèi)舊中心區(qū)。
10. resistance 阻力，抵抗，反抗(www.hz123456.com)
用于resistance to doing sth，表示“做某事的阻力”。如：
There is still much resistance to carrying out this plan. 要執(zhí)行這一計(jì)劃仍有很大阻力。
