關(guān)閉窗口 life 是可數(shù)還是不可數(shù)
life 是否可數(shù)，通常取決于兩個方面：一是它什么意思，二是它表示某一意思時是側(cè)重具體概念還是抽象概念。總的說來，以下幾條原則值得注意：
1. 表示“生活”時，若指某種方式的生活，為可數(shù)名詞。如：
What a life they had! 他們過著什么樣的生活啊!
He leads a happy life in the country. 他在鄉(xiāng)村過著幸福的生活。
若泛指一般意義的生活，則為不可數(shù)名詞。如：
They lacked the basic necessities of life. 他們?nèi)狈ι畹幕颈匦杵贰?/SPAN>
Do you like life in the country better than town life? 你對農(nóng)村生活比對城市生活還喜歡嗎？
所以有時若沒有特定的上下文，用單數(shù)或復(fù)數(shù)均有可能。如：
Fishermen face a lot of risks in their daily lives. 漁民在日常生活中要面對很多危險。
Much of what we do in daily life is done by habit. 我們?nèi)粘Ｉ钪凶龅氖略S多都是出于習(xí)慣。
2. 表示“生命”時，若表示泛指意義或抽象意義，為不可數(shù)名詞。如：Stones don’t have life. 石頭沒有生命。
How did life begin? 生命是怎樣開始的？
At last he knew the meaning of life. 他最后了解了生命的意義。
若表示具體的“性命”，則為可數(shù)名詞。如：
One careless step may cost a life. 一步不小心可能會喪命。
Several lives were lost in the accident. 這次事故中有好幾個人喪生。
3. 表示“一生”“一輩子”時，通常為可數(shù)名詞。如：
She led a long and happy life. 她度過了長壽幸福的一生。
4. 泛指“人生”時為不可數(shù)名詞。如：
What was his aim in life? 他人生的目的是什么?
Life is a continual struggle. 人生就是不斷的斗爭。
但表示具體的“生平”“傳記”時，為可數(shù)名詞。如：
He has written a new life of
5. 表示“生氣”“活力”等，通常為不可數(shù)名詞。如(www.hz123456.com)：
Children were full of life this morning. 孩子們今天早晨充滿活力。
There were signs of life in the forest as the sun rose. 太陽升起時，森林里有了人類活動的跡象。
