feel用作系動(dòng)詞和實(shí)義動(dòng)詞的用法歸納

一、用作連系動(dòng)詞

(1) 表示某人的感覺(jué)，以人作主語(yǔ)。如：

I feel really tired. 我覺(jué)得實(shí)在累了。

Whenever I see you I feel nervous. 我一見(jiàn)到你就緊張。

用于此義時(shí)，可用于進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)。如：

I feel fine. / I’m feeling fine. 我感覺(jué)良好。/ 我現(xiàn)在感覺(jué)良好。

She feels [is feeling] much better today. 今天她感到好多了。

(2) 表示某物摸起來(lái)給人的感覺(jué)或表示使人感覺(jué)起來(lái)有什么特征等，通常要以被摸或被感覺(jué)之物作主語(yǔ)。如：

Your hand feels cold. 你的手摸起來(lái)很涼。

Nothing feels right in our new house. 我們新房子里，樣樣都覺(jué)得不對(duì)勁。

注意該用法雖有被動(dòng)含義，但不用于被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)；同時(shí)也不用于進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)，并且其后一般也不接 to be。如：

綢緞摸起來(lái)柔軟光滑。

誤：Silk is felt soft and smooth.

誤：Silk is feeling soft and smooth.

誤：Silk feels to be soft and smooth.

正：Silk feels soft and smooth.

比較同義句：

大理石摸起來(lái)很光滑。

正：Marble feels smooth

正：Marble is smooth to the touch.

二、用作實(shí)義動(dòng)詞

(1) 其后可接不定式的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)作賓語(yǔ)，其中的不定式不帶to。如：

She felt the tears roll down her cheeks. 她感到眼淚流了下來(lái)。

I felt something crawl up my arm. 我覺(jué)得有什么東西順著我的胳膊向上爬。

其后也通常接現(xiàn)在分詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)，所以上面兩句中的 roll, crawl 也可換成rolling, crawling。

根據(jù)需要，有時(shí)也可能用過(guò)去分詞的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)。如：

He felt a great weight taken off his mind. 他感到去掉了一件大心事。

但是，若其中的不定式為to be，則必須保留to。如：

He felt the plan to be unwise. 他認(rèn)為這計(jì)劃不明智。

比較同義句：

He felt them to be right.

=He felt that they were right. 他認(rèn)為他們是對(duì)的。

=They all felt that the plan was unwise. 他們都認(rèn)為這個(gè)計(jì)劃不明智。

(2) 當(dāng)接不定式、動(dòng)名詞或從句作賓語(yǔ)時(shí)，通常應(yīng)形式賓語(yǔ)it。如：

He feels it his duty to help others. 他認(rèn)為幫助別人是他的責(zé)任。

I felt it a terrible thing that my mother should have to toil so endlessly. 我感到母親老得沒(méi)完沒(méi)了地干苦活太可怕了。

(3) feel sth與feel for sth意思不同，前者意為“摸某物”，后者意為“摸著找某物”。如：

The doctor was feeling her pulse. 醫(yī)生正在為她號(hào)脈。

He was feeling for the keyhole in the dark. 他摸黑找鑰匙孔。

注意，feel for sb 意為“同情某人”。如：

I really felt for him in all these troubles. 我非常同情他這些煩惱。
