nowhere是副詞還是名詞

1. 用作副詞，表示“到處都沒有”。如：

It’s nowhere to be found. 哪兒也找不到它。

There was nowhere for us to go. 我們沒地方可去。

若放在句首，其后接倒裝語序。如：

Nowhere did he go that afternoon? 那天下午他哪里也沒有去?

Nowhere will you find better roses than these. 哪兒你也找不到比這更好的玫瑰了。

2. 有時可用作名詞，此時通常帶有自己的修飾語。如：

The boys had nowhere to play. 這些男孩子沒有地方可玩。

I could find nowhere to park the car. 我找不到地方停車。
