動詞后接現(xiàn)在分詞作賓語補(bǔ)足語的兩種類型

能接現(xiàn)在分詞作賓語補(bǔ)足語的動詞不多，主要有以下兩類：

類型一：feel, hear, look at, listen to, notice, observe, sense, see, watch 等表示感官或感覺的動詞。如：

He felt a hand touching his shoulder. 他感到有只手在觸摸他的肩膀。

She heard him clattering around downstairs. 她聽到他在樓下喀噠喀噠地走來走去。

We listened to the band playing in the park. 我們聽著樂隊在公園里演奏。

Just look at the rain pouring down. 瞧雨這樣傾盆地下。

At this moment she noticed Hallorsen coming in. 這時她看見海洛森走了進(jìn)來。

The police observed the man entering the bank. 警方監(jiān)視著那男子進(jìn)入銀行的情況。

It’s amazing how often you see drivers using mobile phones. 常常看到司機(jī)在打手機(jī)，真讓人難以相信。

She could sense danger approaching. 她能感覺到危險已迫近。

She smelt something burning and saw smoke rising. 她聞到有東西著了，還看見煙在冒。

I stood at the foot of the collapsed tower and watched the rescue workers sifting through the debris. 我站在倒塌的高塔腳下，看著救援人員在瓦礫堆中搜尋。

類型二：bring, catch, discover, find, get, have, keep, leave, send, set, start, surprise 等常用動詞。如：

The explosion brought the whole building crashing to the ground. 爆炸將整座建筑夷為平地。

If she catches you reading her diary, she'll be furious. 如果她撞見你正在偷看她的日記，她一定會發(fā)火的。

The boss discovered him stealing money from the till. 老板發(fā)現(xiàn)他從錢柜里偷錢。

She found herself standing in front of the crowded hall and making her speech, as if in a dream.  她自己站在擁擠的大廳前演講，彷彿在夢中一般。

We got him talking about his war experience. 我們讓他談起了他戰(zhàn)時的經(jīng)歷。

I tried to keep things going by a little teaching. 我教點(diǎn)書來設(shè)法維持。

Don't leave your money lying in the bank; spend it. 別把你的錢存在銀行里，花掉他。

A single slip could send them plummeting down the mountainside. 一失足就可能讓他們摔下山。

His behaviour set people talking. 他的行為引起人議論。

The smoke started her coughing. 煙使她咳嗽起來。

A teacher surprised the boys smoking. 一位老師意外發(fā)現(xiàn)這些男孩子在抽煙。
