1. 1英尺=12英寸=1 / 3碼=30.5厘米。如：

Three feet make a yard. 3英尺為1碼。

There are twelve inches in one foot. 1英尺等12英寸。

2. 表示“腳”時，其復數為feet；表示“英尺”時，其復數是feet或foot。如：

Jim is six foot [feet] tall. 吉姆6英尺高。

但在復合形容詞中通常用單數。如：

a six-foot-tall man 6英尺高的人。

3. 表示“步行”，說成英語是on foot。如：

Today they came here on foot. 今天他們走路來的。
