關(guān)閉窗口 三、最高級(jí)前冠詞使用規(guī)律
1. 在形容詞最高級(jí)前通常用the。如：
One of the best ways to see the area is in a small boat. 游覽該地區(qū)的一個(gè)最好方式是乘坐小船。
If you want further information the best thing to do is have a word with the driver as you get on the bus. 如果你想了解更多信息，最好的辦法是在上公交車時(shí)問(wèn)一問(wèn)司機(jī)。
2. 當(dāng)最高級(jí)形容詞用作表語(yǔ)(尤其是用于which后)且不帶比較范圍時(shí)，the有時(shí)(尤其是非正式場(chǎng)合)可以省略。如：
Which of the boys is (the) strongest? 這些男孩子當(dāng)中哪個(gè)力氣最大？
It is always best to choose organically grown foods if possible. 如果可能，最好還是挑選有機(jī)食品。
但是，當(dāng)處于表語(yǔ)位置的最高級(jí)帶有比較范圍或帶有限定性修飾語(yǔ)時(shí)，其前的the通常不能省去。如：
This dictionary is the best I could find. 這是我能找到的最好的詞典。
He’s the shortest of four brothers. 他是四兄弟中個(gè)子最矮的。
3. 當(dāng)most表示“非常”時(shí)，若其后形容詞所修飾的名詞為單數(shù)可數(shù)且表示泛指意義，那么其前用不定冠詞而不用定冠詞。如：
Jim was a most loving husband and father. 吉姆是個(gè)非常體貼的丈夫和慈愛(ài)的父親。
For a great many men and women, romance can be a most important part of marriage. 對(duì)于無(wú)數(shù)男女而言，浪漫是婚姻中極其重要的一部分。
4. 當(dāng)要對(duì)同一個(gè)人或事物在不同情況下進(jìn)行對(duì)比時(shí)，處于表語(yǔ)位置的最高級(jí)形容詞前不能加the。如：
Young children are happiest with small groups of close friends. 青少年在和自己小圈子里的好友待在一起時(shí)最為開心。
It really is best to manage without any medication if you possibly can. 如果你不服用任何藥物就能挺過(guò)去的話，最好不過(guò)了。
比較：
He’s busiest on Sunday. 他星期天最忙。(他與自己平時(shí)比)
He’s the busiest of all the people here. 他是這兒所有人當(dāng)中最忙的。(他與別人比)
5. 與形容詞的最高級(jí)一樣，當(dāng)要對(duì)同一個(gè)人或事物在不同情況下進(jìn)行對(duì)比時(shí)，副詞最高級(jí)前也不能加the。如：
He works hardest when he’s doing something for his family. 他為自己家做事時(shí)最賣力。
比較：
Of all the workers, he works (the) hardest. 在所有工人中，他干活最賣力。
