Sugar is so much a part of our modern life that we only really think about it when,for some reason,we cannot get it.如今，糖在我們的生活中如此司空見慣，以至于只有當我們因某種原因得不到它時才會意識到其重要性。

咱們還要注意其與另一個相似結構的區別：

【參考解析】本題屬于一種典型的命題失誤。其實這里根本無須填寫任何單詞。《柯林斯高級英語語法詞典》明確指出，relax不是一個反身動詞，不能使用relax yourself這種結構。然而不幸的是這種不規范使用的現象非常常見。《劍橋高階》例句：

After work, they relaxed by going to the pub.

Don't tense your shoulders, just relax.

Oh, to be young again! 但愿青春再來！

To think I spent all my hard-earned knowledge on you! 想想吧，我已把自己所學都傾注在你的身上。（人教版選修8 p74）

【參考解析】第一句考查動介搭配，把over改為of, 很簡單；第二句話考查人稱指代，把She改為I。難點在于這里出現了一個比較級的否定表達最高級意義的結構—couldn’t have asked for anything better 字面意思是：不能想要更好的東西了，即最想要的東西。值得注意的是該結構的語義功能——對過去事件或經歷做回顧性總結，了解這一點，對于我們寫作意義非小。例句：

“The host was friendly, the apartment was clean and cosy and the location was perfect being just outside the town. Couldn't have asked for anything better!”
