析：because(因為)是從屬連詞，用以引導原因狀語從句；而so(所以)是并列連詞，用以連接并列句。 兩者不可同用在一個句子中，改正的辦法是：任意去掉其中的一個。

誤：He became to like poetry when he was a boy.

正：He began to like poetry when he was a boy.

析：表示開始做某事，英語可用begin [start] to do sth。become 后習慣上不接不定式。

9. 為什么不給她送些花呢?

誤：Why not give her any flowers?

正：Why not give her some flowers? (www.hz123456.com)

析：在表示請求或邀請的疑問句中，一般要用some，而不用any。又如：Would you like some bananas? 吃香蕉嗎?

10. 他十分關心他的汽車。

誤：He gives all his attentions to his car.

正：He gives all his attention to his car.

析：attention(注意)是不可數名詞，不能用復數形式，也不能與不定冠詞連用。
