動詞+ it + when從句(例句均出自詞典)

當某些及物動詞由于語義的因素需要在其后接用when引導的狀語從句時，習慣上要在狀語從句前加一個it——這類及物動詞主要有enjoy, hate, love, like, dislike, appreciate, prefer等。如：

I love it when you sing. 我喜歡聽你唱歌。

I don’t like it when you shout at me. 我不喜歡你對我大喊大叫。

I don’t like it when you get angry. 我不喜歡你生氣。

Men say they like it when women make the first move. 男人們說他們喜歡女采取主動。

I like it when a book is so good that you can’t put it down. 我喜歡有一本好書，它會讓你愛不釋手。

I dislike it when you whistle. 我不愛聽你吹口哨。

We really appreciate it when she offered to help. 她來幫忙了，我們十分感激。
