這是語言習慣問題：與go to school / go to the school, go to church / go the church等結構意義有區別的情形不一樣：對于 cinema，無論表示“去電影院”，還是“去看電影”，英語均說go to the cinema，習慣上不說go to cinema；對于 theatre，無論表示“去劇院”，還是“去看戲”，英語均說go to the theatre，習慣上不說go to theatre。
