在一個輔導(dǎo)機(jī)構(gòu)的參考書里有這樣一個例子　　

Wrong: I have never seen an aardvark, but last year my father did.　　

Right: I have never seen an aardvark, but last year my father saw one.　　

對于錯誤他的解釋是；It’s the absence of an object that is the problem here;　　

但是下邊這句話object 也absence了卻是正確的用法　　

Does Peter speak French?　　

B: Yes, he does(替代speak French).　　

又比如； 07年江西高考題　　

Don't take too much of the medicine; it does you more harm than good if you do（這里似乎應(yīng)該替代take too much of the medicine）　　

究竟替代能不能替代謂語加賓語？而且上邊僅僅是沒有賓語的問題嗎？難道改成I have never seen an aardvark, but last year my father did one。就對了嗎？

我覺得下面兩句都是對的：　　

1. I have never seen an aardvark, but last year my father did.　　　　

2. I have never seen an aardvark, but last year my father saw one.　　　　

第1句中的 did 相當(dāng)于 saw an aardvark；第2句中的 did 相當(dāng)于an aardvark。　　

第1句的意思是：我從未見過土豚，但我父親去年見到了。　　

第2句的意思是：我從未見過土豚，但我父親去年見到了一只。
