當 breakfast 前帶有描繪性定語修飾，表示“某一種……樣的早餐”時，其前要用不定冠詞。又如：　　

I’ve got out of the habit of having a cooked breakfast. 我已不再保持早餐吃熱食的習慣。　　

We were well primed for the journey with a large breakfast. 為了去旅行, 我們早餐都吃得飽飽的。

注：lunch, supper 也有類似用法。
