1. I'm not tall and not short.（語法上成立；not A and not B 用于否定A、B兩者，意思是“既不A也不B”）
2. I'm not tall and short.（語法上成立；not A and B 用于否定A、B中之一個，意思是“并非同時A和B”）
3. I'm not tall or not short.（應去掉第二個 not，即說：I'm not tall or short. 它與上面第1句同義）
4. I'm not tall or short.（語法上成立；見上面一句的分析）
5. I'm not tall, and I'm not short, too.（應將 too 改為 either）
6. I'm not tall, and I'm not short, either. （語法上成立；見上面一句的分析）
7. I'm not tall, or I'm not short, too.（應將 or 改為 and；同時將 too 改為 either）
8. I'm not tall, or I'm not short, either.（應將 or 改為 and）
■第五句和第六句and 前面要不要逗號均可以，這不是問題的關鍵。
■and 一定要用于肯定句么，不能用于否定句和疑問句么？
and 完全可以用于否定句和疑問句。如：
Oil and water don’t mix. 油和水不相溶。
Animals and plants cannot live without oxygen. 沒有氧氣動植物就無法生存。
Do you have brothers and sisters? 你有兄弟姐妹嗎？
但要注意它在不同句型的意義上的區(qū)別。以下例子屬比較典型的用法：
She can sing and dance. 她會唱歌和跳舞（既會唱歌也會跳舞，兩者都會）。
She can’t sing and dance. 她不會唱歌和跳舞（只會唱歌或只會跳舞，但不是兩者都會）。
She can’t sing or dance. 她既不會唱歌也不會跳舞（兩者都不會）。
■or 一定用于否定句么，不能用于肯定句和疑問句么？用于疑問句一定表示選擇么？
or 除用于否定句外，完全可以用于肯定句和疑問句。如：
Answer yes or no. 回答是或者不是。
I'd like it to be black, white or grey. 那個東西我喜歡黑的、白的或灰的
Will you have tea, coffee or lemonade? 你喝茶、咖啡還是汽水？
沒錯，or 用于疑問句主要表示選擇，但不是一定表示選擇，如：
She had to have the operation, or she would die. 她必須動手術，要不然就沒命了。（or表示警告）
The man was a fool, he thought, or at least incompetent. 他想道，那人是個傻瓜，或者說，至少很無能。（or 表示補充）
When I was nine or ten someone explained to me that when you are grown up you have to work. 我大概9歲或10歲的時候，有人跟我說人長大了就得工作。（表示概數）
■and和or 在什么情況下可以等換呢？
它們原則上不能替換。但在某些特殊情況下，兩者區(qū)別不是很大。如：
