find 通常不用于進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài),但偶爾也可見到它用于進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)的例子,主要用于表示看法或意見(to have a particular feeling or opinion about sth),尤其用于后接復(fù)合復(fù)賓語(yǔ)的句式。如:
He was finding the river lonesome.
He is finding his new work far more exciting.
Old habits die hard, and I’m finding it difficult to give up smoking.
The children are finding it hard to adapt to the new school.
Local firms are finding it difficult to compete in the international market.
My brother has never been abroad before, so he is finding this trip very exciting.
He was finding it increasingly difficult to make decisions.
The small shopkeeper is finding life increasingly difficult.
I was finding it increasingly difficult to keep my temper.
