What’s up？的意思是“怎么啦”“出什么事了”，與What’s wrong? / What’s the matter？大致同義。　　

What’s going on? 的意思也是“出什么事了”，但多用于正在發生的事，如：

但事實上，What's going on 有時也可表示 What's up 的意思，如下面這句中的what’s going on就相當于what’s up：
