15. It’s no use (in) doing sth 做某事沒(méi)有用(不行)

It’s no use trying to get round (in) paying the income tax. 設(shè)法不交所得稅是不行的。

It’s no use trying to see him at six this evening, because he’ll be giving a lesson then. 今晚六點(diǎn)鐘去找他沒(méi)用，因他那時(shí)要講課。

16. There is no point (in) doing sth 做某事沒(méi)有意義

There’s no point (in) waiting. 等待是毫無(wú)意義的。

There’s no point (in) taking your car if you can’t park. 如果那里不能停放車(chē)輛的話(huà)，你開(kāi)車(chē)去就沒(méi)多大意義了。
