六、otherwise隱含的虛擬條件句　　

otherwise 的意思是“要不然”“否則”，根據(jù)其意思可知，它隱含著“條件”的意味，并且根據(jù)不同的語境，這個“條件”有時是真實的（用陳述語氣），有時是虛擬的（用虛擬語氣）。如：　　

Don’t start giving me problems otherwise I’ll have to be very unpleasant indeed. 不要開始給我找麻煩，否則我就不客氣了。（句中otherwise隱含的是一個真實的條件）　　

I’m really very busy, otherwise I would certainly go there with you. 我真的是太忙了，不然我就會同你一道去了。（句中otherwise隱含的是一個虛擬的條件）
