pound的用法與可數性及復數形式

1. 用作重量單位，表示“磅”，可用單數形式表示復數（尤其是其后接有數詞時）。如：

Two pound(s) of apples, please. 我要兩磅蘋果。

表示“按磅出售”，用 by the pound。如：

Tea is sold by the pound. 茶葉按磅出售。

2. 用作貨幣單位，表示“鎊”“英鎊”，其復數一般要加-s，是如果其后接有數詞時，其復數也可以不加詞尾-s。如：

The ticket costs only two pound(s) fifty. 票價只兩鎊半。

She paid two pounds or perhaps two pound(s) ten. 她付了2英鎊或許2英鎊10便士。
