最高級(jí)前如何使用the

(1) 在形容詞最高級(jí)前通常用the，而副詞最高級(jí)前可用the，也可省略。如：

He was considered the best actor in London. 他當(dāng)時(shí)被看成是倫敦最出色的演員。

Those who work (the) most often get paid (the) least. 工作最多的人常常工資最低。

(2) 當(dāng)最高級(jí)形容詞用作表語(尤其是用于which后)且不帶比較范圍時(shí)，the在正式場(chǎng)合通常可以省略。如：

Which question did you think was (the) most difficult? 你認(rèn)為哪個(gè)問題最難?

(3) 當(dāng)要對(duì)同一個(gè)人或事物在不同情況下進(jìn)行對(duì)比時(shí)，最高級(jí)形容詞通常前不能加the。如：

Vegetables are best when they are fresh. 蔬菜新鮮時(shí)最好吃。

He works hardest when he’s doing something for his family. 他為自己家做事時(shí)最賣力。
