三、“中國的首都在哪里?”

此題應選A。但容易誤選B，因為從漢語意思看為：

——中國的首都是哪里?

——是北京。

從邏輯上看，北京是中國的首都或者說中國的首都就是北京，而不是說中國的首都在北京(里面)，這是邏輯上的一種等價關系，而不是一種包含關系。試比較以下正誤句型：

正：—What’s the capital of China? 中國的首都在哪兒?

—Beijing (is). / It is Beijing. 在北京。

誤：—Where is the capital of China?

—(It is) in Beijing.

但是我們可以說天安門在北京(里面)，那是因為天安門只是北京的一個組成部分，它包含在北京范圍之內。所以下面一組對話是對的：

正：—Where is Tian An Men Square? 天安門在哪兒？

— (It is) in Beijing. 在北京。

注意類似情況：

正：Where do you live? 你住在哪?

正：What’s your address? 你住在哪?

誤：Where’s your address? (若此句視為正句，則只能表示：寫有你的地址的紙放在哪里?)

四、“她是誰?”

此題應選C。句中的uncle相當漢語于的“舅舅”。這是一道帶有智力性質的題目。做這類題除需一定的思維技巧外，還要注意以下各詞的多層含義(這與漢語不同)：

uncle：叔叔，伯伯，姨父，舅父

aunt：姑母，嬸母，伯母，姨母

grandfather：爺爺，外公

grandmother：奶奶，外婆

cousin：堂兄弟，表兄弟，堂姐妹，表姐妹
