關于副詞用作表語

原則上說，連系動詞后接形容詞作表語，不接副詞作表語。如：

誤：His English is very well. 他的英語很好。(應將 well 改為 good)

誤：Be carefully. 小心點。(應將 carefully 改為 careful)

誤：The soup tastes nicely. 這湯味道不錯。(應將 nicely 改為 nice)

但是，有時連系動詞后也可接副詞作表語，這主要限于in, on, off, out, away, behind, up, down, over, through, around, round, below, inside, outside 等少數副詞小品詞以及 here, there, upstairs, downstairs 等少數表示地點或方位的副詞：

Is your mother in? 你母親在家嗎？

Everyone is here now.  現在大家都到齊了。

I must be off now. 我現在得走了。
