7. scheme 計(jì)劃,方案;陰謀 表示“做某事的計(jì)劃(方案、陰謀等)”,其后通常接不定式,也可接for doing sth。如: I think he had a scheme to cheat the customer. 我認(rèn)為他耍陰謀坑騙顧客。 We need to come up with a good scheme to make money.我們需要想出一個(gè)賺錢的好法子。 We have a scheme for finishing the job by Friday. 我們計(jì)劃星期五之前完成此項(xiàng)工作。 He has a scheme to increase [for increasing] his income. 他有一個(gè)增加收入的計(jì)劃。 8. time 時(shí)間 表示做某事的時(shí)間,其后通常接不定式,有時(shí)也接for doing sth。如: The time to relax is when we’re ahead. 我們提前完成,才是休息的時(shí)候。 Now is the best time to visit the gardens. 現(xiàn)在是最適合逛花園的時(shí)候。 She needs to slot time for visiting her great-aunt. 她需要安排時(shí)間拜訪伯祖母。 The trip allows you plenty of time for browsing around the shops. 此次旅行留給你足夠的時(shí)間逛商店。 但是,在以下結(jié)構(gòu)中,通常要用不定式: (1) it’s time to do sth 是做某事的時(shí)候了。如: It’s time to ask for a raise. 是要求加薪的時(shí)候了。 It’s time to call this meeting to a close. 到了結(jié)束會(huì)議的時(shí)候了。 (2) have time to do sth 有做某事的時(shí)間。如: You have plenty of time to catch your train. 你有足夠的時(shí)間去趕火車。 I didn’t even have time to comb my hair. 我甚至連梳頭的時(shí)間都沒(méi)有。 He set aside the book until he had time to read it. 他把書(shū)放起來(lái),等到今后有時(shí)間時(shí)再讀。 有時(shí)也用have time for doing sth結(jié)構(gòu),但主要見(jiàn)于singing, dancing, painting, reading等可以名詞化的動(dòng)名詞。如: I haven’t enough time to read [for reading]. 我沒(méi)有足夠的時(shí)間讀書(shū)。 (3) need time to do sth 需要時(shí)間做某事。如(www.hz123456.com): I need time to reflect before answering your question. 回答你的問(wèn)題前,我需要時(shí)間認(rèn)真考慮。 People needed time to understand the reality of damage caused by the hurricane. 人們需要時(shí)間去認(rèn)識(shí)颶風(fēng)對(duì)現(xiàn)實(shí)所造成的損失。 (4) there is time to do sth 有時(shí)間做某事。如: There’s a time to work and a time to play. 有工作的時(shí)間,也要有娛樂(lè)的時(shí)間。 There isn’t nearly enough time to learn all these words. 要把這些詞都學(xué)會(huì)了,時(shí)間遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠。 |
