否定的簡略答語

■在否定答語中，not可以直接跟在be afraid, believe, expect, fear, guess, hope, imagine, presume, suppose, think以及It seems / appears等之后。如：

—Has Anne got into university? 安妮上大學(xué)了嗎?

—I am afraid not / believe not / I think not. it seems not. 恐怕是沒有 / 我相信沒有 / 我想沒有。看來是沒有。

■與believe, expect, imagine, say, suppose及think等動詞一起亦可用not…so，如I don’t believe so / ... imagine so / ... suppose so / . . think so. 我不相信是這樣 / …這樣推測 / …這樣假設(shè) / …這樣想。
