2. 用作動詞，注意以下用法：

(1) 后接不定式，表示“愿意”、“喜歡”、“想要”，通常用于否定句、疑問句或條件句等。如：

(2) 后接從句，表示“在乎”、“在意”等，多用于否定句或疑問句，偶爾也用于肯定句。如：

3. 用于 care about

4. 用于 care for：

(1) 表示“喜歡”，通常用于否定句或疑問句。如：

Would you care for a drink? 你想喝一杯嗎?

He doesn’t care much for music. 他不大喜歡音樂。

2. 后接介詞 with(其后多接名詞)或 in(其后多接動名詞)，表示做某事時很小心或仔細。如：

He’s careful with [＝in doing] his work. 他工作很仔細。

Be careful with the vase;it is valuable. 這花瓶很貴，小心點。

Be careful in dealing with such people. 和這種人打交道要小心。

3. 后接不定式。如：

Be careful not to drop it. 小心不要把它掉了。

You must be careful to avoid being caught. 你必須小心，不要被抓住。

比較：

He’s careful to read every sentence. 他注意讀(即不漏讀)每一個句子。

He’s careful in reading every sentence. 他讀每個句子都很仔細。
