idea后接動(dòng)詞和從句的用法問(wèn)題

1. 表示做某事的想法，其后要接 of doing sth作定語(yǔ)，一般不接不定式。如：

I hate the idea of getting old. 我討厭變老這個(gè)想法。

The idea of parachuting out of a plane terrifies me. 一想到要從飛機(jī)上跳傘，我就感到很害怕。

其后雖然不直接跟不定式，但有時(shí)可接帶連接代詞或連接副詞的不定式。如：

I have no idea of how to do it. 我不知道如何做此事。

I had no idea what to say to her. 我不知道對(duì)她說(shuō)什么。

注意下面一句中idea后的不定式不是定語(yǔ)，而是主語(yǔ)：

It’s not a good idea to come between a man and his wife. 最好不要介入人家夫妻間的事。

2. idea 之后可接一個(gè)由 that 引導(dǎo)的同位語(yǔ)從句，用以說(shuō)明idea的具體內(nèi)容，此時(shí)的 that不能改用 which。如：

She had no idea that I was unhappy. 她不知道我不高興。

The idea that you can do this work without thinking is wrong. 你可以不動(dòng)腦筋做此工作的想法是錯(cuò)誤的。

但是，如果其后接的是定語(yǔ)從句，則可以用which來(lái)引導(dǎo)，此時(shí)的which在定語(yǔ)從句中用作主語(yǔ)或賓語(yǔ)。如：

The idea which she put forward was interesting. 她提出來(lái)的想法很有趣。

3. 后接that引導(dǎo)的從句時(shí)，不用介詞 of；接續(xù)疑問(wèn)詞引導(dǎo)的從句時(shí)，可用介詞of（也可省略）。如：

Have you any idea (of) when he will come? 你知道他什么時(shí)候來(lái)嗎?
