◆fight v.
1. 用作動詞，表示“與……斗爭(或戰斗)”，以下三類表達大致同義:
士兵們勇敢地同敵人作戰。
正：The soldiers fought the enemy bravely.
正：The soldiers fought with the enemy bravely.
正：The soldiers fought against the enemy bravely.
用于此義時，fight with 與 fight against 大致同義，但用后者語氣更強。但除此用法外，fight with 還有一些其它的用法，此時不能與 fight against 替換。如：
The children fought with snow-balls. 孩子們打雪戰。
